On their latest album, Lodown serves us with a heaping dosage of heavy rock music. Their music can be described as loud, progressive rock with a metal edge. As soon as you press ‘play’, the atmosphere is charged with an eruption of heavy-laden sound. Their first single ‘Century’, hands down is the best track of the album. Filled with driving guitars, powerful vocals, and matched with aggressive beats, the result can almost be described as an omnipotent force.
The rest of the album echoes this unstoppable energy, injected with effective songwriting. If you are a metal fan looking for something new to get into, you should get ‘Black Horse’, a collection of intense anthems loaded to the max with punch.
